Hey beautiful people,
Something has been occurring to me over the past few months in small flashes of inspiration and via little signs. Little signs such as things people say, seemingly insignificant occurrences, observing the world around me and, actual signs, actually! When I didn’t take much notice of the universe’s pointers, then I got a huge great situation presented to me until I learnt the lesson it was trying to show me. This is what usually happens when I don’t follow my intuition and notice what the universe is telling me, so I should be prepared for these big life lessons! (Note to myself to take notice!)
So what was this lesson all about? Letting go! I am an organised person. I have drive, self-motivation and I can put my ideas into action. So when I am seeking a certain outcome, I don’t just sit around hoping it will work out, I take action and make it happen. This is a great attitude to have when the outcome is largely dependent on you: a business venture; preparing for a marathon; getting a new job; de-cluttering your house or releasing weight. However many of the outcomes we seek in life are co dependant on other people too. Their decisions, opinions and free will come in to play; and the more people involved, the more complicated it gets to try and manage the outcome you desire with the traditional ‘just go out there and get it’ attitude.
In the past I have sent far too long assessing situations to try and manage the outcome ; making plans As, Bs, Cs……Zs, all ready and in place for the ‘what ifs’. I set a lot of store by manifesting and part of this process is taking action and being prepared.
However what I have really learnt over the past few months is that sometimes you have to realise that you have taken all the action you can. I have learnt to recognise when it is time to stop taking action or planning for every eventuality and have faith in the universe.
Only from this highest perspective can all the pieces fall into place; you have to realise that you have done your part and you cannot control what the other people are doing or how they will behave. You have to trust in your manifesting, your action and that if this is meant to be that all will be well. Sometimes just continuing as if all is well, even when you have no idea because you only have access to your little piece of the puzzle, is not only the best thing to do but the only thing you can do. So I have been learning to ‘Let go and trust in the universe to do the managing’. It is a little scary, but it is also very freeing.
Let go and have faith. I know it is not easy for those of you out there who seek to create their life and do it with drive and focus; but it gets easier and it is so refreshing to let go and just ‘know’ that you have done your part to the best of your ability.
You are deserving of having the universe organise the big picture so you have the outcome you desire. You don’t have to understand how it happened, or what the process was, you can just enjoy the rewards.
